We Share Our Hearts!

December 1, 2023, marked the Highland Lakes Service League’s annual Special Needs Christmas Party.  For more than twenty years, the HLSL has hosted this free celebration for students and adults across Burnet and Llano counties.  The party took place at Putters and Gutters in Marble Falls where guests were welcomed into a winter wonderland for bowling, crafts, face painting, many games, a visit with Santa, lunch, and the yearly favorite: a dance party DJ’ed by KBEY radio’s own Ben Shields.

With approximately 500 guests and volunteers this year, the League is overjoyed with the excellent attendance and the incredible generosity of many individuals and local businesses. The organization’s motto, “Together, We Can Do More!” certainly proved true in this case, and we would like to express our gratitude to all who contributed, be it through service, sponsorship, or donation.

Special thanks to Sponsors Estes Audiology, Moxie I, LLC, and Putters and Gutters of Marble Falls.

Additional appreciation for Donors, and In-Kind contributions from the Marble Falls High School Art Department, Numinous Coffee, Chick-fil-A, HEB, and WalMart.

For their personal energy and service, we would also like to thank Matthew McCabe, Tommy Morgan, as well as Charles Jones with Hill Country Fellowship.
