The Highland Lake Service League was proud and excited to announce the return of our annual Special Needs Christmas Party on December 3, 2021! As the guests arrived, the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Ms. Lollipop and Santa’s helpers, known as “The Ladies in Red”, invited them to enter Santa’s busy world of fun and activities to celebrate the Christmas Season! There was dancing to music, several craft projects to assemble and take home, face painting, and a lunch topped with cookies and candy. To top off the day, Santa was there to hear what was on their “Wish List”. And a good time is had by our friends in the mental health community, their caretakers, and us – who have been named “the ladies in red!” by our guests.
